The Saturday lineup will see C.O. AKA Chiedu Oraka, Declan McKenna, FLawes, Krrum, Life, Scorpz, Shells, Stevie Parker, Superfood, The Hubbards, The Modern Strangers and Zulu take to the stage.

Then on Sunday, it’s Brand New Friend, Cosima, Freak, Haarm, Jack Conman, Loyle Carner, Lumer, Mullally, Our Girl, Pale Waves, Seramic and The Big Moon.

Stephens said: “Once again we have a brilliant line up for the BBC Introducing stage. The gigs at the Radio 1 Academy have been a lot of fun with Introducing Humberside, and we look forward to continuing the fun at Radio 1's Big Weekend. It's great to see Hull band Life returning to play for us too, as well as some really exciting new artists.”

Hopefully this time next year we'll be seeing our very own El'tee gracing the main stage.
